When I was a kid my parents signed me up for karate at Master John Godwins first dojang in Newport. We moved around a lot back then so I didn’t get to stay very long. But I never forgot the experience. I always remembered how fun and easy the staff made the lessons. Now, twenty years later, I am a Father myself. And when I decided to enroll my daughter in karate Master Godwin’s dojang was the first school I thought of. I was once again extremely impressed with the instructors and staff at the Middletown dojang. So much that I once again enrolled myself. Needless to say my experience surpassed my expectations. There is no other place I would want to learn karate and no other instructors I would want to teach me. I would like to thank Master Kaluzny and Miss Myers for there dedication and patience and of course Master John Godwin for starting it all.
